My Campaign for Georgia District 2 in 2012

Why am I running?

More than anything I believe our Country is heading into national decline at an alarming rate, and I am very passionate about standing with other patriots to stop this decline. I’m also running because Georgia District 2 needs a strong conservative voice in Washington. We are currently represented by a pawn of the Obama Administration, which has shown itself to be the most radical, leftist and ineffective Presidency in US history. Sanford Bishop’s tenure in the 2nd District has sewn a path of corruption and his actions and voting record endorse a Democrat Party agenda which is leading us headlong into big government European style socialism and class warfare, which voters of the GA 2 do not want, and will hasten our downfall as a nation.

Because I came in second in the GOP primary last time, some are asking why I feel the Republican voters of GA-2 will support me this time around?

I got into the race very late last time, in mid March I believe. Mike Keown was running a strong race with a lot of support and funding already in place. Mike had already been campaigning seven months when I came into the race. As a political novice I had a lot of ground to make up in a short time. We did make a lot of progress in the short time we had, but we just didn’t have enough time and funding to get our message out to influence the outcome enough to make a difference. This time with a longer Campaign, endorsements, and previous ensuing support, along with ample funding, we are very confident we can bring a whole new level of competition to the Bishop Campaign. Even with the consequences of redistricting, we are excited about the continuing prospects for a successful campaign.

A brief description of my platform.

My campaign platform will center on the idea of American exceptionalism. That is that we are the exception to the history and condition of man, in that we are the first serious country to prove that man can govern himself, without a powerful governmental authority, dictating and controlling every facet of human activity. Along with our Founding Fathers, I believe we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, and that it is the responsibility of the Government to protect these rights, and our liberty is best served when government is limited. I will also stress the ideals of self reliance, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, the restoration of traditional American values, and a strong national defense. Other special areas I will focus on will be the defeat of Obamacare, a push for a Federal Balanced Budget Amendment, cutting government spending, and reducing our national debt.

Our new Campaign Website is under construction and will be available in the very near future.

Vote Rick Allen for Chairman MCRP

Vote Rick Allen for Chairman of the Muscogee County Republican Party

MCRP Convention 12 March 2011, registration starts at 9 am-Meeting Starts at 10 am

Location: Meeting will be held in Stockwell Hall of Saint Luke United Methodist Church-Church Address-1104 Second Ave., Columbus, GA 31901. Stockwell Hall- via third Avenue and is located at the northwest corner of Third Avenue and 11th Street.

Professional Experience - President Vita-Rx Corporation, since 1978.  Political Experience - Lifelong Republican, Candidate for U.S. Congress, GA District 2, Member of Muscogee County Conservative Party, Columbus Tea Party, and SWGA Patriots, Regional Director for Citizen Initiatives.  Education – University of GA, BJA Journalism

Hello fellow Republicans. I am seeking your vote to become the next Chairman of the Muscogee County Republican Party, (MCRP). In the points below I will explain why I believe a change in leadership would be beneficial to our local party, and why I believe I would be the right person for the job.

Reason # 1 ( Our Reason for Being )

I believe the political climate has changed dramatically enough that we cannot continue running this local party in the same manner as in the past. The Democrat Party has become a far more leftist, progressive and socialist leaning party, especially in following the lead of the Obama Administration and the Democrat led Senate, and until just recently, the House of Representatives.

From what I sense, the MCRP sees itself in some sort of co-existence, or the sharing of local politics with Democrats, and Democrat leaning local non-partisan politicians, such as our newly elected Mayor, who easily won the election, but who is actually politically way to the left of most of her constituents. Her left leaning views and actions should have been exposed to the city by the Republican Party. This sort of subservient co-existence must come to an end. Our party and the ideals we embrace should be the dominant positive political force in Columbus. Not putting up opposing candidates in incumbent Democrat races has to end, and by promoting liberal candidates in local races, we are doing our party, and the community a great disservice.

Our mission should be to recruit, support, and endorse quality candidates to run against all opposing parties, and also to stand in opposition to, and to campaign against incumbents who either don’t listen, or who vote on issues differently than they had originally promised their constituents. Above all our primary goal is to “Win Elections!”

We are the Party that is on right side of issues and the answers. To be a Blue Dog Democrat, or a middle of road Republican, (RINO), is to be on the wrong side of American politics, and history. We must be the party of principal, honesty, integrity, and not politics as usual. Voters are looking for honesty and transparency, and have grown tired of career politicians. Let’s leave the greed, corruption, and bad policies behind closed doors to the Democrats.

The Tea Party ideals which swept new energy into the Republican Party this year are neither right-wing nor extreme. They are main street America ideas and principals that can work, and have worked. Most Americans consider themselves conservatives in recent polls. If this is true and we live in a conservative community why is the local MCRP meekly sharing power with a political side that is actually smaller, and wrong?

The Republican Party needs to embrace the ideas of the Tea Party: Restoration of the Constitution, reigning in and down-sizing the out of control growing Federal Government, fiscal responsibility in spending and debt reduction, the restoration of moral values, and the continual emphasis of individual liberty and free market capitalism.

I am of the firm belief that America needs and wants strong conservative Republican leadership that is best exemplified by the late Ronald Reagan. A belief that America is an exceptional Country, and with common sense leadership there can be, and will be a continued bright future should be emphasized. I believe Ronald Reagan would have embraced the Tea Party principals and ideals as part of his Republican conservative Philosophy. In fact, they were the ideals he espoused. Our Country desperately needs this sort of leadership and spirit at all levels, local, state, and at the national level.

We need to project this energy, and passion for everything that is good about America into our local community through the Republican Party. The other side wants to “Fundamentally Transform America” and we have to stop them at all costs. Our Country and our Children’s future are riding on our actions. We are right and they are wrong. We have over 200 years of unparalleled success on our side. Our Country can continue this unheeded success just as soon as the left will remove their excessive regulations, corruption, cynicism and anarchy. Sure, we have made mistakes, but the world has been a far better place because of America. Our rise to power has increased freedom and prosperity worldwide. The solutions the Democrats offer have never worked anywhere and have ultimately led to oppression, poverty and chaos. History has a way of repeating itself. There is no need to transform anything in the greatest, freest Republic that man has yet created. The protestors who rant against the decadent west and the U.S. in the streets of the world use cell phones, Facebook and Twitter to organize their revolutionary protests, but their lives have all been better than their parents because of the ingenuity and the benefits of free-market capitalism that the United States of America has brought to the rest of the world. We are still the greatest and freest hope for mankind that has ever existed. This flame must not expire. It is our job to convey these ideas locally on the grassroots level in order to be successful.

Reason # 2 ( How I Would Lead the MCRP Differently )

The MCRP should be more visible in the community. We should advertise as much as possible, especially by using formats that are low cost or free, such as Twitter. The Facebook page and the website should be updated and should be used for recruiting, education and information, such as advertising monthly meetings. We represent at least half the citizens of one of the one of the largest cities in Georgia but you have to search hard to find anything about the MCRP. Many, much smaller communities have a much larger presence than we do and you can see the pride they have in their organizations. Under my leadership The MCRP would have increased visibility that we could be proud of.

We need new ideas and new energy incorporated into the MCRP. As I said we should have a large, visible presence in Columbus. We should educate local voters on why we are different, and why we are right. We should influence local politics with our own candidates and we should point out the errors and corruption of our political enemies. Unfortunately I believe we have come to the point that Democrats are no longer just political enemies, but increasingly by their agenda, should be viewed as long term enemies to our Country and our way of life.

The MCRP would have regular, coordinated and well publicized meetings. Are you aware of the fact that not a single business meeting was held in 2010 because there wasn’t a quorum present? One of the first things I would do as chairman would be to propose a change to the by-laws that two or more members present would constitute an official meeting. I would like to see a growing MCRP that would have increasingly large meetings with increased participation and input by all members.

I would also stress a more inclusive membership where everyone would feel welcome. This would definitely change under my leadership. We would open our doors to all Republicans and we would welcome Tea Party Members, Conservative Party Members, Libertarians and Independents. We would even welcome Democrats who want to cross over. We would do everything possible to increase our membership in the community.

The Republican Party voter rolls include many types of voters and we should remember this in our recruiting. We must remember that our enemies the Democrats, and the other assorted leftists, have a membership that ranges from the President, Tycoon George Soros, Wall Street types, blue collar union workers, and the unemployed. They are well organized and varied in their ranks, and we should employ their tactics to our advantage.

If the money is available I believe a physical full time Headquarters and meeting facility would be very beneficial. It would of course give the MCRP an immediate increased visible presence in our community. It would also increase rapport and the flow of information between members, and would be an excellent tool to increase membership. Another great benefit would be to increase the education of issues to our community, which I believe is very important in these changing times when our media is either suppressing or distorting the truth. I believe the U.S. Constitution should be taught and brought to forefront of our education efforts, and the HQ could become this platform. I actually believe in the necessity of all citizens to reacquaint themselves with the document and the reasons pertaining to why it was created. Understanding it will become increasingly vital for our national survival. The Headquarters could also be used for local, State, and National Republican speakers and politicians.

Reason # 3 ( Why You Should Vote For Me )

Because I will offer new leadership that will make the MCRP grow and prosper. I will listen to all your ideas and you will be included in all discussions. Our meetings will be more open, transparent and everyone will be made to feel welcome. I will bring honesty, integrity, pride and visibility back to the MCRP. We will not be hiding out under a rock anymore. We will have increased fundraising and we will increase our support for good, conservative, Republican Candidates who want to serve locally.

We need to change our tactics and I know if we do not change our ways, the Republican Party will in very short order, face an untimely death. We face a large, well organized, and I believe a malignant social and political force, that is intent on taking away our individual freedom and destroying the basic fabric of our Country in the process. We as the local Republican Party are actually the first line of defense against this enemy. It all starts at the local level and that’s the way the Founding Fathers had envisioned it. It is our job to inspire, educate and lead our community in the right, conservative direction and to run our local Republican party in the most effective manner possible. I don’t believe our local party has been run this way or understands this. This is not about a power struggle or matter of control, between our party and the opposition. Again, we are on the right side, but do I believe we are in a serious battle for the future of our Country and we have to be strong and accessible locally. These are serious times, and the people are tired of politics as usual. They are looking for more out of their politicians and their political party. I’m asking for your vote as Chairman so that I can help to restore strong effective leadership into the MCRP and get down to business on our number one job, and that’s “Winning Elections”! With your vote, and your support, we can begin to give the voters of Columbus exactly what they are looking for.

Thank You,

Rick Allen

I welcome your calls or emails for discussions on any issues, or my candidacy.

Another Conspiracy Theory?

First of all, let’s get this straight. Moammar Gadhafi is a terrible, cruel Dictator who is killing his own people and his vile regime needs to come to an end. His country, and the world, would be a better place without him. In recent days he has threatened to destroy Libya’s oil fields. An act that alone might send oil to $200 a barrel or more. It is also known that he ordered the Lockerbie, Scotland, Pam Am Flight 103 Bombing in 1988. In other words, Gadhafi is, and has remained, an enemy of our country who has killed hundreds of innocent Americans in cold blood. Strangely, President Obama has been hesitant to condone the apparently necessary, valid and just revolution that is being played out against Gadhafi’s regime in Libya as we speak. In the recent Egyptian crisis Obama was very vocal about the necessity of Hosni Mubarak leaving office as soon as possible. His response in the Libya situation has been tepid, slow, and eerily reserved while ordinary Libyans are being massacred daily in the streets by Gadhafi’s goons.

There are peculiar, personal, coincidences and inconsistencies at work in this situation. Obama attended Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church for 23 years. Jeremiah Wright has been extremely tight with Louis Farrakhan, of the Nation of Islam, for a very long time. Farrakhan, who is a Black Muslim, has been a regular speaker at his church and has received strong support and numerous awards at Wright’s Trinity United Church. Louis Farrakhan is also a friend and confidant of Moammar Gadhafi and has received numerous awards, money and support from Gadhafi through the years. Farrakhan received a $5 million interest-free loan from Gaddafi in 1985. Later that same year, Gadhafi spoke to Farrakhan and offered his help in providing weapons so that a black army in the U.S. could destroy “white America.” On another occasion in 1996, Farrakhan and Gadhafi agreed to work together to mobilize “oppressed blacks, Arabs, Muslims and Red Indians” in order to interfere and re-define U.S. foreign policy.

Jeremiah Wright and Farrakhan traveled to Libya to visit Gadhafi in 1984. During Obama’s 2008 Presidential Campaign, Rev. Wright noted that Obama would have trouble keeping his Jewish support when word of this visit leaked out. Why? Because Farrakhan’s Black Muslim Nation of Islam Group is overtly Anti-Semitic, and there is a very close connection and friendship between Obama, Farrakhan and Reverend Wright.

Two other interesting Obama-Farrakhan personal connections are Rev. Willie Barrow and Cornel West. Rev. Willie Barrow is a member of the Obama campaign’s official Faith Outreach Team and he is an Obama Super-Delegate. Cornel West is a Marxist Activist who was an Obama 2008 Campaign advisor. Both are associates and personal friends of Obama, and likewise both are friends, advisors and staunch supporters of Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam Organization.

Another Obama connection to Farrakhan is David Axelrod, Obama’s chief political strategist. Axelrod, who is Jewish, sits on the finance committee of the Chicago Catholic Parish that was formerly led by the controversial Catholic Pastor Michael Pfleger, another close associate and supporter of Farrakhan. Of course Pfleger is also associated with Jeremiah Wright and has had speaking engagements at Trinity United Church. There are also magazine covers of Rev. Wright’s publication the “Trumpet” which has various photo combinations of Obama, Farrakhan, Michelle Obama, and Mrs. Farrakhan – all in all, a nice chummy group.

Digesting all this seems like waking up from a bad dream, but then coming to the sickening realization that the dream is actually real. Then there is the ongoing, appalling reality that Obama really is the leader of the world’s only Superpower and regrettably his absentee foreign policy is leaving a dangerous power vacuum in the increasingly volatile Middle East. He is either woefully out his league, unprepared and naïve, or he is indeed playing his role in a bigger game that is most definitely not in our best national interest. By his incompetence, or by his real and purposeful negligence, we are opening the door just wide enough for the Muslim Brotherhood, or Ahmadinejad and his Iranian Mullahs to easily walk right in and make themselves at home. By looking at the peculiar and toxic connections listed above, I sadly believe that you will regrettably and unfortunately, be able to come to your own rational conclusion, quite easily.

CITIZEN INITIATIVES – Reclaiming America Through “SINGLE ISSUE” Conventions

Are These Concepts Important To You?

Increasing relevancy and renewed emphasis on the importance of the U.S. Constitution.

More emphasis to the voice and importance of the average American Citizen.

A return to the power and proper Constitutional authority of strong states rights as it was intended by the founding fathers.

How would you like to advance and implement major conservative issues such as a, ”Balanced Budget Amendment,” without the intervention of the US Congress and the Executive Branch, (President), and do it in a completely legal, and Constitutional manner?

How would you like your State, and other States to be able to re-assert the power and Constitutional authority that they have lost to the ever growing, bloated and out-of-control federal government?

How would you like to re-establish and unleash the power of the individual, and truly begin to restore the concept of “We The People?”

The gist of the program I’m describing is outlined in the book, “RECLAIMING AMERICA through SINGLE ISSUE Federal Conventions” by Charles Kacprowicz.

The whole idea is rather simple, but can seem confusing. Basically it uses Article V of the Constitution which allows the states to convene a Constitutional Convention based around a single issue, (a proposed amendment). He’s trying to start with the “Balanced Budget Amendment,” because of its popularity, necessity, and timeliness.

The great thing about the whole idea is that Congress and the Executive Branch wouldn’t have anything to do with the process and would have no say so at all in the undertaking. The issues are pushed through the use of signed petitions that anyone (Citizens), can sign. These are taken to the State’s legislators who call for a limited amendment convention.  We will have legislative calls for the states to use for each amendment, so the call will be uniform. Because all the states are equal in their constitutional voting rights, the popular vote is irrelevant. Alabama would have as much say so as California and Wyoming would have as much clout as New York. It would only take a consensus of 34 States to call for a convention, and 38 states to ratify it and add a new amendment to the Constitution, which Congress would have to agree to, whether they liked it or not. Helpful to our purposes is the fact that Article V only refers to conventions for amendments. Article V does not refer to an open convention, where the whole content of the Constitution could be changed, possibly for the worst.

Single Issue Conventions would be a great idea because:

(1)   Average citizens could use their own power with petitions to advance much needed conservative issues that would become new Constitutional Amendments- this could be done without the long process of voting for politicians, who still might not work out once they get to Congress.

(2)   The State Legislatures, working with other States could affect national policy without the intervention of Congress, or the President. This would be a tremendous boost to States Rights, which a taken a back seat to our ever expanding Federal Government. That of course is not how the Founding Fathers intended it.

(3)   This whole process would draw much needed emphasis on the Constitution, and actually empower it in the political process. It is being ignored by Congress and the Executive Branch and this would bring it immediate clout and relevance.

(4)  This would be a much quicker way of getting conservative issues advanced to the national level, especially now when our economy, freedoms, and our way of life are under assault. Any single issue could be tackled, even multiple single issues at the same time. This could be done in a much shorter time than voting for politicians and waiting for the usually slow and corrupt Washington Congressional two-party system to pass anything resembling conservative-constitutional issues.

Charles Kacprowicz has been working on this idea and book for over 35 years. I was impressed by him during his talk here.  He is a religious man who is a Bible scholar and he is very concerned about the direction of our country and especially how this might affect our religious freedom. We are primarily just trying to get as many people as possible to hand out petitions and get them signed. Then we will take these to our State Legislators to get the process started. Of course we also need people through handing out the petitions, to tell others by word-of-mouth to spread information about the program.  This thing would have to go nationwide pretty soon to have any impact at all.  We need as many state directors, and regional directors as possible to organize groups within their states.

Charles is trying to get people started in all states as directors to get the ball rolling.

“Citizens Initiatives” is also trying to raise money by selling his book for $25.00 and he’s also taking contributions because there are going to be a lot of expenses going nationwide. Refreshingly though, most of this can be done through a grass roots movement of ordinary citizens just getting petitions signed and telling others about it. I think it’s a great program and I’d like as many people to hear about it as possible. I believe we have just a limited time to take our country back. This might be one of the quickest ways to do it.

Please let me know if you interested in helping or if you would like more information.

Sincerely,

Rick Allen

Thanks Sanford Bishop for trying to take away our right to feed ourselves……

Thanks for voting for H.R. 2749: Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009.  With many of your constituents in District 2 already on federal entitlements, with slim hope of employment, and worried about their future, now you want to tamper with their food. You’ve already voted for two very unpopular bills, Obamacare and Cap & Trade, and this is just another example of your total disregard for the people you represent.  This house bill, which passed Congress on July 30, 2009, is now on the Senate floor as Senate Bill S510, “the Safe Food Act.”  This bill will give us increasingly higher food prices, which is really timely since we are already seeing spiraling food costs due to economic turmoil. This innocuous bill also gives increased power to the FDA, and the EPA, and will bring increased regulations and financial devastation to farmers.

Some major aspects of the bill are:

(1.) It will expand our bloated bureaucracy by expanding the federal workforce by the thousands. (2.) A price tag of $1.5 billion. (3.) It will put all US food and all US farms under the authority of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, in the event of contamination or so defined national emergency. (4.) The US would lose sovereignty over its own food supply by insisting on compliance with the World Trade Organization which would threaten our national security. (5.) Is an attack on private property and our basic individual rights by taking agriculture and food, out of the hands of the citizenry, while putting them under the total control of multinational corporations. (6.) It would remove the rights of US Citizens the right to clean, store and own seeds in their own country and would the put the total control of seeds in the hands of Monsanto and other multinational concerns.

The Monsanto Corporation seems to have a strong interest and connection to this bill. They have much to gain by its passage. To make matters worse we have several unholy alliances to really add increased aggravation to this devastating bill and national security risk. Our new FDA “Food & Safety Czar, “Michael R. Taylor, who was appointed in July 2009, was the former VP for Public Policy for Monsanto and prior to that he worked for a law firm that represented the Monsanto Corporation. To add more icing to the cake, ultra liberal globalist billionaire activist George Soros is one of the largest shareholders of Monsanto stock. Wow, another strange coincidence of influence from the left that could very well threaten the security of our free republic.

Sanford didn’t vote on this alone. Disappointingly, he had help from two Georgia Republican Congressmen; Nathan Deal and Phil Gingrey. I guess they weren’t paying attention to the burgeoning Tea Party movement which was still in its infancy but gaining steam nationally. Now with increased scrutiny I suppose all of Georgia’s Republican RINO’s are suddenly strong conservatives, but thank God in the summer of 2009 we did have true conservatives like Lynn Westmoreland, Paul Broun and Jack Kingston who had common sense enough to vote no to the house bill.

Why we need this insidious bill in the current economic environment is very puzzling. The United States is the most advanced agricultural nation on earth and the majority of Americans are well fed and our self-supporting food supply is the envy of the world. We export an abundance of food to other nations and this a great source of national strength. This is not to mention the other countless problems our Country now faces: the total financial collapse of our economy, devaluation of the dollar and the loss of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency, a belligerent nuclear Iran, Islamic Terrorism, a non-existent and porous southern border, and the list could go on and on. With all these serious problems why do we have to debate a bill that seeks to preclude our God given natural right to grow, own, trade, transport, share,  feed and eat the very food our very existence depends on. What would the founding fathers think about this offensive and unconstitutional bill that negatively seeks to control our individual rights as free men to cultivate, trade and rightfully consume the foods of our labor as we see fit.

I see this bill as nothing more than an extension of the federal government’s attempt to totally stifle our individual freedom. With Obamacare they control our health. With this bill they will control our food. Together this is total control of our life. When we lose control of our health and our food we must submit totally to tyranny and slavery. What more do they need from us and what more do we need to know? This bill needs to die immediately. It is an evil, corrupt invasion of our basic god-given natural right to feed ourselves and our loved ones in a free society. How dare they have the audacity to tell what foods we can grow and eat on our private property! If we pass this bill they can do anything to us and we will put up with anything and we rightfully will deserve everything our new masters do to us. This bill must not pass. This is a national embarrassment that it has progressed this far. Every American should contact their Senators as soon as possible to stop this bill.

If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.” ~Thomas Jefferson

Let’s vote tomorrow because………..

This will be up to this point, the most important vote of our lifetime. Let’s vote tomorrow for leadership that will put our national security first, because it is now at great risk, on many fronts. As Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.”  We must constantly fight for our freedom and let’s not be the generation who saw this danger, but chose not to confront it. Our freedom is not inherited or guaranteed, and can be lost. The forces arrayed against us are powerful, constantly changing and evolving, and are more than capable of our destruction if we ignore them, and if we do so, it is at our own peril. Voting tomorrow will be our new start in defending our precious freedom and the first day of the new battle.  Again we need to think of the words of Reagan, “If not us, – then who?  And if not now, – then when? “

Let’s begin this fight by voting for candidates who will protect and enforce the Constitution, support individual liberty and limited government. Appearance and style without substance will not represent your values or views, or keep our Country safe and free. Look behind the person, and the smiling face, and vote only for the policies, and the personal beliefs, and the character of the individual, and hope they mirror your own.

An End Around On Our Second Amendment Rights

The first thing we need to understand about gun control is that the rest of the world views this issue quite differently than we do here in the good old USA. Most countries in the world view gun control as a “human right” and do not recognize self-defense as a human right. Most members of the UN believe civilian disarmament is a human right and nations that don’t have strong gun control policies are actually violating basic human rights.

The founding fathers believed that rights , such as the right to self-defense ,were given from above by God , and God’s natural law that endows us with certain rights, which are unalienable, meaning they cannot be taken away. Fortunately as U.S. Citizens, our second amendment rights, to bear arms, are guaranteed to us by the Constitution. They are actually just stated in the Constitution. The Constitution was written by men. Actually no man can guarantee this right to you. It is an unalienable right given to us by God, or as stated in the Declaration of Independence in the broadest possible sense, so as not to cause conflict over any specific Deity, by the “ Creator.”  We are not given rights by men, but from God and if God, or the Creator, is taken out of the equation, then from where do we get our rights? This leaves us with men giving us rights. And accordingly, if men can give us rights, then surely, men can also take them away.

Unfortunately we have leaders who don’t understand, or care, about these fundamental ideas that have transformed the course of history in such a positive way, and brought about the freest and most successful country the world has ever seen.  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with her new cohort,  State Department  legal advisor Ed Koh, a radical world-wide gun control advocate, do not agree with our founding fathers vision, and have little, or no regard at all for our Constitution. Along with the left leaning progressives who now run our government they are enthusiastically in favor of ratifying a UN sponsored global small arms treaty called the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), a massive effort to regulate weapons trade on a world-wide level,  which would effectively undermine U.S.  sovereignty and our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. This could also be the first step to losing all of our rights and freedoms.

This UN Small Arms Treaty is being disguised as legislation to help in the fight against “world-wide terrorism,” “insurgency” and “international criminal organizations,” but it is in reality  nothing more than a massive, global gun control scheme which would subdue and disarm us in the process, and allow more leeway to the petty dictators and the one-world government types who control the UN, to continue in their quest for global oppression through totalitarian control.

The media’s attention of ATT has been focused on the international arms trade but former UN ambassador John Bolton has warned that the real agenda is domestic firearms control. If passed  by the UN and ratified by our U.S Senate  the UN “Small Arms Treaty” would almost certainly contain enforcement of with these negative provisions:

  • Confiscate and destroy all “unauthorized” civilian firearms, Would cover rifles, shotguns and handguns. (government firearms would be excluded.)
  • Micro stamping of ammunition
  • Registration of gun owners and tougher licensing requirements.
  • Mandatory destruction of surplus ammo and confiscated firearms
  •  Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of all semi-automatic weapons.
  • Create an international gun registry, setting the stage for full-scale gun confiscation.
  • Maintain control throughout the whole life cycle of a weapon, from production to destruction, with marking and registry on databases.

I hope our leaders think ahead to possible negative consequences of global gun control. Will rogue nations who transfer weapons to terrorists and criminals really abide by any treaty? Personally I also wouldn’t trust China, Russia, Venezuela, Yemen, Pakistan and other so called “stable” countries to live up to or comply, and it would be foolish to our  national security. And who would monitor such a monstrosity? The UN of course. This leaves us even more to worry about. Since its foundation almost 65 years ago, the United Nations has been looking forward to the day when the United States is finally brought to its knees.

This treaty in other forms has been brought up in various forms for a decade or more but is seeing new life because the UN sees in our current leadership a sympathetic  and complicit partner who might ease the process through.  With so many weak-kneed anti-gun Senators who get “queasy” about killing treaties for fear of “embarrassing” the President, especially politically correct treaties with “international prestige” at stake stopping the ratification might harder than you think.

Hopefully more conservative Senators will be sent to Washington after the vote in November to slow this process. In the meantime everyone should make every effort to contact their Senator to voice their strong opposition to this detrimental treaty to our rights and national security and also inform as many people as to the possible devastating consequences of this treaty.

I believe by supporting the passage of this treaty Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Obama Administration are betraying the American people, are circumventing the Constitution and if passed it will effectively be “aiding and abetting” the enemy. Knowing their worldview, and their liberal progressive socialist agenda and ideology, I understand their reason, but in this case, “Reason” rhymes with “Treason.”

Is Obama influenced by his Father?

Not according to columnists Kathleen Parker and Eugene Robinson. Their answer is a definite no in their response to an article in Forbes and also a new book by Dinesh D’Souza, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage.” They contend that he is certainly not and it is ridiculous to think otherwise, and that his Presidency have proved this as utter nonsense . Their attack is also aimed at Newt Gingrich as some sort of knee-jerk right wing buffoon for even entertaining the same insane idea!  They both believe there is no evidence of any enduring influence because the Senior Obama was out of his Son’s life by the age of 2. How could the young Obama be influenced by the anti-colonial rhetoric of his departed Father?

Possibly by his very absence, the Young Obama began to idolize his Father, especially seeing that he was raised in a similar environment to that of his removed father; an early Muslim formative upbringing in addition to the influences of Socialism and Marxism which continued through High School, and beyond.

His rejection and understandable anger at his early abandonment could have eventually turned to admiration for his Father, as the reluctant good soldier, who was called back to war, fighting the good fight in the worldwide struggle for freedom in the homeland of Kenya, as an anti-colonialist, far-left economist, with communist political connections and aspirations.

Unfortunately for a time the title of Obama’s autobiography “Dreams of My Father” didn’t really seem a relevant mystery that had to be questioned or answered immediately by most Americans. Now with hindsight, and with more Americans paying attention with alarming awareness to Obama’s leftist-socialist agenda  which is now increasingly revealing itself, the title now leads us, and begs us, to give it a fresh and closer look.  What exactly were the dreams of his Father? The title was already there, ahead of time, begging us to examine it meaning, but most chose not to. It was there, boldly broadcasting the ensuing agenda  that would enfold to all to those who actually wanted see and understand.

The dream of his father was just good old fashioned, unadulterated Communism with a heavy dose of Anti-Colonialism. This collectivist world-view theme has threaded itself through the life of the young Obama and he has certainly never made a major effort to run from, or avoid its corrupting influence. It is a theme that has continually surrounded his life, initially and ongoing with his family and then with friends, acquaintances and influences he as purposely sought out and embraced.

Another telling event linking him to his Father happened almost immediately after he took the office as a newly elected United Sates Senator. In his first week of office he flies off to Kenya to spend a week campaigning for the son of one of his Fathers closest political buddies, who is possibly related to the Obama’s. In another blaring coincidence this fellow running for President of Kenya just happens to be a communist, running on the communist party ticket, and like the Senior Obama, a Muslim, a minority religion in Kenya.

This seems rather odd behavior for a fresh, newly elected U.S. Senator from Illinois.

Campaigning for a communist in Kenya, a U.S. Ally, in your first week of office seems almost Un-American come to think of it. This trip, which was against normal State Department protocol, just serves as ongoing further proof that Obama is very much influenced by the ideals and legacy of his father and his Marxist agenda. This trip was an attempt to continue and win the fight his Father had started. How could any sane rational person view this otherwise?

Anti-colonialism is also an important factor in this equation. Obama’s paternal Grandfather was tortured by the British for his involvement in the Kenyan independence uprising against British rule. Given this familial history in Kenya and his Father’s purposeful absence, have most likely given Obama much sadness and some deserved grudges which are easy to understand. His quick deportment of the Winston Churchill bust minutes after moving into White House, the Obama’s, both Michelle and Barack’s, almost too casual and possibly contemptuous behavior during their visit with Queen Elizabeth, his treatment of P.M. Gordon Brown during his visit, and his purposeful and demeaning verbal renunciations of our close and enduring alliance with Great Britain are possible manifestations.  Could reactions to these events be just the outer edges of possible anti-colonialist resentment that boils just below the surface?

There are many other examples, and Obama’s actions are increasingly showing us how deeply indebted and influenced he is to the dreams of his father. They are radical dreams and they a very dangerous to our future.  These are also very scary dreams for a President of the United States to be having during nights in the White House. Sleep tight and Sweet Dreams!
